(D)Assault

Funny: Even before it has landed in India, Rafale has proved its destructive capabilities

Punny: We have heard of WOMD – weapons of mass destruction

F: Now Words of Mass Destruction launched by the opposition

P: Take it with a pinch of salt, these verbal (d)assaults

F: Ruling party is working overtime to find holes in Hollande’s words

P: And prove how hollow and shallow they are

F: Words of Hollande, Ex-PM of France need to be ‘ex’punged

P: Words can cause more damage than sword

F: Ruffled by Rafale, RaGa’s vocal ‘CHOR’d has left the ruling party rattled

P: ‘Reliance’ on one’s word is surely questionable

F: While you can’t ‘rely’, you can’t deny it either!

Coming as it does in times of soaring fuel prices it has given the opposition an inch. It is for them to grab a mile out of it. Lynch, centre did not flinch. Dalit outrage, centre did not lose courage. Farmers’ distress, centre wasn’t stressed. Viewed separately, they may not be threatening. When combined, the cascading effect could prove to be catastrophic for the ruling party.  Whether Rafale would be Weapons of Mass Destruction or Words of Mass Destruction, your guess could be hazardous. Or Words of Modi Destruction, only time will tell, F&P chuckled. ‘Ayushman Bhava’!!
